Joe Georgiou

Born in Birmingham, England, Joe moved to Sheffield to study film production after taking a year out to travel, work and complete a one-month intensive filmmaking course at Central Film School London. Joe has had work placements at Sheffield Doc/Fest and Warp Films after successfully completing his degree in Film and Media Production at Sheffield Hallam. 

 

With a desire to tell real stories,  he specialises in short form documentaries and would like to share many more of his films on Vimeo. He is also hoping to one day organise an international documentary film festival in Birmingham.
